CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), UK, held an elite academic training seminar and teacher training workshop on August 6-27, 2014 in Shanghai. Associate Professor Zhang Ling and Associate Professor King Wu from STU Business School attended the seminar as participants from partner institution. CIMA invited Peter Stewart, Academic Director from London Headquarters, and Adrian Sim, international instructor, to speak in depth on business case content, methods and skills. Lecturers from more than 20 colleges and universities nationwide attended and benefitted from the high-level training program, which helped raise the future standard of teaching of business case studies. Our two Business School lecturers also engaged in broad discussions and exchanges with other lecturers from CIMA and other institutions, increasing awareness and recognition of STU Business School.
CIMA China this year announced the elite academic training plans to raise the academic level of management accounting study and personnel. This training seminar will specially invite senior CIMA training team to give talks on C01, P1 (TBC), E1, P2, 2015 teaching program knowledge and case study analysis and key points. It is hoped that this seminar will provide opportunities for us all to have deeper understanding and better communication on course content and curriculum.
